Pretty Ugly

So I wrote this song about a half month - a month ago along with some other ones, but looking at it a second time that much later shows which ones you actually like... Yeah I S-U-C-K at singing, but I think it has good potential if someone who could actually sing got hold of it. I know in my head what the guitar riffs would sound like, but haven't worked them out. Oh well, maybe one day...

Just Ordered Season Football Tix!

Ok, so I didn't have much else to do today, so I went and made sure that I had football tickets for this season. It adds up to $146. Not bad considering the games we will be playing (Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin, etc) not to mention the fact that Coach Dantonio has us on the track to finally becoming a football powerhouse once again...

I was just looking at our 2009 recruiting class (http://www.spartantailgate.com/forums/duffy-daugherty-msu-football-recruiting-forum/299780-2009-michigan-state-football-commitments.html)... OH WOW IS IT SOLID! So many 4 star recruits... compare that to this year (our only 4 star recruit is Fred Smith) or say the entire 21st century for that matter (I doubt John L got that many)... Coach D has us in the right direction and it looks like I picked the right time to be a Spartan after seeing how our football team is looking, not to mention our basketball team... Hopefully Dantonio keeps the pace up!

I <3 Quiznos

So I was watching TV today... An ad for Quiznos came up and I was really feeling it... Its out of my way, but I decided I would make it worth it by going to Target and getting Stone Temple Pilot's greatest hits CD (since it was on sale) and some other knick knacks... This video shows my reaction. Long story short - Quiznos has won over my sub money...

Everybody Has to Start Somewhere...

So I got bored (well more like I was physically exhausted from playing some ball today, but wasn't ready to sleep) and decided to create this blog for the entire world to look into my life, if they please. Anyways I'll post a few pictures to give you some insight into my life and who I am/where I come from, etc...

This first picture is me back during my high school days doing what I love... Yes that is a mural of the last supper in the background... Catholic schools tend to be into that stuff for some reason....


This is my dog, Sunny. I've had him ever since I was in Kindergarten. He's way past his better days and I haven't been able to see him much since I went away to college, but he is the best dog in the world.
This other guy's name is Blue. Haha, no we didn't mean for that to pair up so perfectly with my other dog - we adopted him (he has a blue eye) when I was in sixth grade. He's also on his last leg, and had to have one of the ligaments in his hind leg repaired when I came to MSU for AOP (that's Academic Orientation Program) after he tore it while chasing after a squirrel... Both of these guys are really gentle, and its a shame that I can't see them in their last couple of years as much as I used to....
Back to happier thoughts.... This is me during Halloween weekend here in Holmes Hall... Probably went out soon after... As I learned some crazy stuff happens here, especially around Halloween... Well I mean even more than normal...
This is just a funny picture from my old high school. We had this program called SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions - no I wasn't in it), and they would randomly go out during the school day around homecoming and "kill" people to represent how often people die from drunk driving.... It also looks like we had a baseball game later in the day since I only wore my team wind jacket (or w/e you call it lol) during those days...

Anyways, more to come eventually, especially once the school year kicks off and I complain about 8 AM classes, Organic Chemistry, girls, and our football team getting ripped off by the refs...
